App Name: CleanerMax
Package Name: com.cleaner.phone.max
Developer: Zentro Studio
Contact: alltasks.tachmet@gmail.com

This Privacy Policy describes how Zentro Studio (“Zentro Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with CleanerMax (the “App”). The App is an Android utility application that helps you scan and manage device storage, clean files, organize and process images, manage installed applications, manage notifications, and use related utility features

We handle information only for the purposes described below and only to the extent reasonably needed for the App’s operation, maintenance, security, improvement, analytics, attribution, advertising, and monetization. This Policy does not create a promise that any feature or permission is available on every device; availability depends on Android version, device configuration, and the choices you make.

The App provides user-initiated, Android-supported utility functions. It is not a regulated system-repair service and does not claim to repair the operating system beyond the permission-based actions and mechanisms supported by Android.

1. Who Controls the Information

The data controller for the App is:

Zentro Studio
Email: alltasks.tachmet@gmail.com

Zentro Studio determines why and how information is processed for the App. For requests concerning information under our control, use the contact details in Section 14.

2. Age Requirement

The App is not directed to children under 13. Anyone under 13 should not use the App or provide personal information through it.

3. Information the App May Process

The categories below describe information that may be processed when you use a relevant feature, grant a permission, or interact with the App.

3.1 Device, Network, and App-Operation Information

The App and integrated service providers may process technical information such as device model or environment information, Android and App versions, language and region, network status, IP address or other network-request information, diagnostics, crash logs, performance measurements, basic App events, push-related technical identifiers, and advertising identifiers such as Google Advertising ID (GAID).

This information supports compatibility, stability, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, notifications, analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, and protection against misuse or abnormal traffic.

3.2 Files, Storage, and Scan Results

When you start a cleaning, storage-analysis, large-file, residual-file, image-cleanup, or photo-compression feature, the App may inspect file and storage information needed for that feature. This can include file names or other basic file metadata, file size, storage usage, cache or residual-file indicators, temporary files, installation packages, log files, large-file information, and image files relevant to a selected scan.

The results may be used to show storage usage, identify possible junk or redundant items, prepare recommendations, provide compression or organization results, and carry out a cleanup action after you confirm it. These scans and related processing are performed locally on the device. We do not proactively upload, store, or transfer the contents of your private documents, photos, or other files to our servers for junk-cleaning purposes.

3.4 Installed-Application and App-Management Information

When you use app-management or related optimization features, the App may process basic information about installed applications, including app names, icons, package-related metadata, installation status, category or display information, storage-related information, and information needed to show app details, sort applications, estimate cleanup priority, provide uninstall guidance, or perform related analysis.

This information is primarily analyzed locally, and, apart from the limited third-party processing described in this Policy, the App does not proactively upload or maintain a server-side record of your installed-application list. The App does not silently uninstall another application. When you select an application for removal, Android’s standard system uninstall flow handles the final action. Limited installed-application information may also be accessible to an integrated advertising, attribution, analytics, or anti-fraud SDK where permitted by applicable law and Google Play rules, for purposes such as fraud prevention, attribution, advertising measurement, compatibility analysis, or service security.

3.5 Notification Information

If you enable notification-management or notification-cleanup features, Android Notification Listener Service access may allow the App to read notification metadata locally so it can identify, classify, organize, or clean notifications, including excessive, duplicate, or invalid notifications. This access is used only after you enable the relevant feature. Notification text, message content, and notification details are not uploaded to our servers by the App.

The App may also process local task and reminder information needed to send cleaning reminders, storage-optimization reminders, scan-result updates, service-status notices, or other messages tied to features you have enabled.

3.6 Preferences and Local Records

The App may store settings and preferences on the device, such as display choices, reminder settings, notification-filtering rules, feature configuration, cleaning records, scan records, and App cache. These records help preserve your choices, maintain continuity, show prior results, and provide a consistent experience. They are generally kept locally and are not proactively uploaded unless a service you request requires a related technical request.

4. When Processing Takes Place

Information can be processed in response to your actions and automatically while the App is operating.

When you start a scan, select files or images, request compression or cleanup, manage an installed app, change notification settings, or change an App option, the App processes the instructions and related data needed to perform that request.

The App may also process functional data automatically while a feature is running. Examples include scan information used to identify caches, residual data, temporary files, large files, or other redundant items; installed-app information used for app display and management analysis; device, crash, performance, GAID, and event information used for diagnostics, compatibility, analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, and fraud prevention; and locally generated image classifications used to provide organization or cleaning results.

Third-party SDKs may process limited information for analytics, attribution, crash handling, advertising, advertising measurement, anti-fraud controls, and push messaging as described in Section 10.

5. Why We Use Information

Depending on the feature and your choices, information is used to:

6. Android Permissions and Special Access

The permissions below may be requested only where a feature, Android version, or device environment makes them relevant. You can refuse or later revoke optional permissions, but the associated feature may then be unavailable or limited.

6.1 File and Storage Permissions

Depending on Android version, the App may request or rely on:

These permissions support scanning junk, residual APKs, temporary and log files, large files, and relevant images; showing file sizes and results; reading images for an image-cleanup or compression request; and deleting selected items after your confirmation. On some devices, All files access may be needed for deep cleaning, full-device scanning, or similar storage-management functions.

The App accesses files only to the extent needed for the feature you use and does not delete files without your authorization through the relevant confirmation flow. Without the required access, deep cleaning, large-file identification, residual-package scanning, image compression, image deletion or organization, and file analysis may not work. You can usually manage these permissions under Android Settings > Apps > CleanerMax > Permissions or Settings > Special App Access. The exact menu names may vary by device.

6.2 Usage Access

The App may request android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS for features such as app-usage or traffic views, app-management analysis, notification management, deep-cleaning analysis, or optimization functions. This access can help calculate usage frequency, activity or idle status, storage occupancy, cache estimates, cleanup priority, runtime status, and related local app-management information.

Usage Access is primarily used for local analysis. The App does not use it to read chat content, typed content, or page text in other applications. Unless this Policy expressly says otherwise and you consent to the relevant feature, information obtained through Usage Access is not used for unrelated purposes. You can manage it under Settings > Special App Access > Usage Access.

6.3 Notifications

android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS may be used to send cleaning or storage reminders, task-completion notices, service-status updates, scan-result messages, feature prompts, and other messages connected with enabled features. Denying it normally does not disable core cleaning functions, but reminder-dependent functions may not operate. It can be changed under Settings > Apps > CleanerMax > Notifications.

6.4 Notification Listener Access

Notification Listener Service access is requested only if you choose notification management or a similar feature. It allows local reading of notification metadata to identify, classify, organize, or clean notifications. The App does not upload notification text, message content, or notification details to its servers. Disabling this access makes those notification features unavailable. You can change it under Settings > Notifications > Notification Access, although the exact menu name may vary by device.

6.5 App Removal Requests

android.permission.REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES may be used only to open Android’s uninstall flow for an application you select from an app-management feature. Android handles the final decision and removal. The App does not silently uninstall apps, uninstall them automatically in the background, use this permission to install APKs or self-update, or distribute applications.

6.6 Advertising Identifier

Where advertising, attribution, ad-performance measurement, anti-fraud, or promotional analytics services are integrated, com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID may be used to access the advertising identifier for those purposes. Its use follows applicable Android, Google Play, and privacy requirements.

6.7 Foreground Services

The App may declare and use android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE together with the applicable service-type permission, including android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC, for a user-initiated or otherwise user-visible long-running scan or file-analysis task. A foreground service allows a cleaning or file scan to continue when the App is not continuously visible. The data synchronization service type is used only for the technical continuation and coordination of the scan or file-analysis task; it is not used to upload private file contents to our servers.

Where supported and required for the App Lock feature, the App may also use android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE. This service type supports the timely, user-visible activation and operation of an App Lock protection task after you enable that feature, subject to Android’s foreground-service rules and device restrictions. It is not a general-purpose background collection mechanism. The App Lock function does not change the local-processing and data-use limits described in this Policy.

Foreground-service notifications and the associated service may be stopped by Android settings or by you where the system permits. If the relevant service permission or notification permission is denied, long-running scans or timely App Lock behavior may be limited.

6.8 Display Over Other Apps

The App may request the Android special access permission android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW to support the App Lock feature.

When App Lock is enabled and the App detects that a protected application is being opened or brought to the foreground, the App may display its own lock screen or verification interface above that application. This overlay is used only to prevent unauthorized access to applications that you have selected for protection.

The overlay is not used to display third-party advertising or unrelated notices. The App does not use this permission to read, capture, record, or monitor passwords, text entered into other applications, private pages, or other unrelated interface content. Unlock information is verified locally on your device, and the App does not upload your App Lock password, unlock credential, or App Lock operation records to our servers.

This permission is optional and remains under your control. You may revoke it through Android system settings or disable the App Lock feature within the App. If the permission is not granted or is later revoked, App Lock protection may not be able to display its verification interface when a protected application is opened.

6.9 Battery Optimization Exemption

The App may request the special permission android.permission.REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS where necessary to support user-enabled security and long-running device-maintenance functions, such as App Lock protection and extended cleaning or file-scanning tasks.

Android battery-saving policies may restrict or suspend background services. If you approve this exemption, the App may continue operating for a longer period when the system would otherwise pause or terminate a relevant user-enabled service. The exemption is used to support the continuity and timely operation of those functions; it does not authorize the App to collect, inspect, or upload additional personal or private information.

You must actively approve this special access through the Android system prompt or system settings. You may restore battery optimization for the App at any time through the device’s battery settings, such as Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization, although the exact menu may vary by device. After the exemption is revoked, App Lock protection, extended scans, or other related background tasks may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable because of Android’s power-management rules.

6.10 Query All Packages

The App may declare android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES because certain app-management and device-utility features require information about applications installed on the device.

This permission may be used to identify installed application packages and obtain limited package-related information, such as application name, package identifier, installed or enabled status, application size or storage-related information where available, usage-related information obtained through separately authorized Android access, and information needed to support the following functions:

The App uses this access for the app-management functions you request and for related device-utility operations. The information is primarily processed locally on your device. The App does not use this permission to read the contents of other applications, access their accounts or messages, monitor their screen content, or collect unrelated data from them. The App does not proactively upload or maintain a server-side record of your complete installed-application list for unrelated purposes.

Where permitted by applicable law and Google Play policies, limited application or package-related information may also be processed by an integrated advertising, attribution, analytics, or anti-fraud SDK for compatibility analysis, attribution, fraud prevention, advertising measurement, or service security, as described in this Policy.

If this access is unavailable or restricted by Android or device settings, installed-application lists, application details, usage-related displays, process-related management functions, uninstall guidance, and some app-analysis features may be incomplete or unavailable.

7. Local Processing and Cloudflare Configuration Service

Cleaning scans, storage analysis, image analysis, local preferences, scan records, and notification processing are primarily performed on the device. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use private file contents, photos, notification content such as SMS previews or chat messages, or the installed-application list for purposes unrelated to providing or supporting the App.

The App may use Cloudflare services to store and distribute cloud-based configuration parameters. These parameters may control limited client behavior, such as feature switches, display logic, runtime parameters, or service policies. To retrieve or deliver a configuration, Cloudflare may process necessary request and network information, including IP address, request time, device or operating-system technical information, network-routing information, and request metadata.

This Cloudflare configuration service is not used to upload private files, photo contents, notification contents, chat contents, or other user-provided private data.

Installed-application information may be accessible to an integrated advertising, attribution, analytics, or anti-fraud SDK only to the limited extent described in this Policy and permitted by applicable law and Google Play policies. Private file contents, image contents, notification text, and chat content are not proactively shared by the App for advertising or analytics purposes.

9. Data Retention and Security

Information used for local cleaning, scanning, image processing, notification management, reminders, and preferences is generally retained on the device. Examples include local settings, cleaning and scan records, notification-filtering rules, and App cache. Clearing the App’s data or uninstalling it generally removes locally stored data, subject to Android behavior and any data you separately retain elsewhere.

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Information handled by third-party advertising, analytics, attribution, crash, push, or configuration providers is subject to their security practices and policies.

10. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The App may use the following services, depending on the version, feature, region, or advertising configuration:

These services may automatically process advertising identifiers, device and system information, IP address or other network information, App events, interaction data, diagnostics, attribution data, and performance information. Depending on the provider, the purposes include advertising delivery and optimization, campaign attribution and measurement, fraud detection and prevention, aggregated analytics, crash handling, push messaging, configuration delivery, and App-performance support.

These services may process necessary technical request information, but the App does not use them to upload private files, images, notifications, or chat content for the purposes described above.

For current details about a provider’s practices, review that provider’s privacy policy. A provider’s own policy may describe additional processing carried out directly by that provider.
